Running

The running portion of Deuces Wild Triathlon is the part that has me most worried.  I have never been much of a runner but also have never had the desire or motivation to run.  My freshman year in High School I had to run the mile every Friday as part of my PE class - I hated it!  The fastest I ever ran the mile was just under 12 minutes - not too impressive.  

In training for my first triathlon I realize that I must to some extent get over my hatred for running.  Josh and I have been going out a few times a week to the High School track to run and work out.  The first time was at 5:00am in 13 degree weather - so cold my phone shut down and ice formed in my water bottle.  We went again last night and ran/walked two miles in just over half an hour.  I am already finding that I go further faster but still have a very long way to go.
