Not too Bad

I started to be more aware of what I was eating a few weeks before Thanksgiving (great time to start a diet right?).  I first stopped drinking soda and caffeine.  I made very few changes to my eating habits and only rode bike a time or two.  We spent Thanksgiving in California and I lightened up my restrictions a bit - I neither gained or lost weight for the week.  I ate bad but did a ton of walking.  I weathered Christmas well with only a slight increase but just days after Christmas was back where I had been before Christmas.  I weighed my self last night to find that I am now down 17 pounds from November when I started!  Off to a pretty good start - still a long ways to go!
