While there has not been much opportunity to get out on my bike this week there was another underlying issue that kept me off the saddle - lack of helmet. Today I got off work early and was able to make it the bike shop and found one (actually the only one) that fit and was within my price range. There is nothing too fancy about it and my only real expectation from it is that it keep my head intact in the event of an accident - I don't ask for much.
Depending on how my family is doing when I get home tomorrow I will be able to get out on the bike, if not, Saturday for certain.
