Excitement has been slow about the give away but it is growing. I have gone from three followers to five! The face book page now has three members (me, my wife, and someone named Andy). I have had one person link from their blog to mine. Considering this give away has six months to brew I feel like it is off to a great start.
There has been other indications of support and excitment as well. For instance in my lunch yesterday I found a note from Maria that stated:
"You can do this. You will do this!"
On facebook my little brother wrote:
"Give it to me. Just think, its all the motivation you would need. who is the last person you would want to give your tv to?"
My little sister from another mister wrote, also on facebook:
"Or [you can give it to] your favorite sister lol"
And my father-in-law (who deserves a shout out for getting his bike up and going again) texted me and wrote:
"Be careful about penalizing Maria with the TV if you can't lose the weight"
I feel like I am being held accountable for what I eat and how hard I work now. Last night Maria caught me sneaking a cracker and told me "you better knock that crap off" - and I could tell the way she said it she meant it.
